With a law degree under my belt, I quickly discovered that my true passion lay in entrepreneurship and human connection.
After starting my business over two decades ago, I was immediately told I needed to network but I was never told how to do this right. I was only told to show up "and eventually you will see results."
Yeah right.
Let me tell you what really happened...
I still remember my first networking events,
walking in nervous, feeling like I didn't belong, like everyone else knew something I didn't, like I wasn't quite good enough to be in the room.
So I did what most people do: I showed up, I was helpful, I hoped.
For years, that hope didn't pay off.
I collected contacts, attended every event, said yes to every coffee. And still, the return didn't come. Not because I wasn't trying. Because nobody had ever handed me a system.
So I started paying attention.
Which conversations actually led somewhere. Which follow-ups turned into something real. Which relationships were worth investing in, and which were just... noise. Slowly, what had felt like chance started to feel like something I could actually plan for.
That's when it clicked:
networking isn't a numbers game. It's an investment game. Same time, same effort — but a system turns that effort into deals, clients, and referrals instead of a longer contact list.
I built that system for myself first.
Then I started sharing it, and I've been helping entrepreneurs and professionals around the world grow and scale their businesses with confidence.
Affectionately known as the Queen of Networking,
I believe genuine relationships are the cornerstone of success.
Along the way, that system became several programs in Belgium, each dedicated to empowering others through collaboration and growth.
I had the honor of giving a TEDx talk called "Pick Your People,"
and was recognized as Best Director of 2026.
Today, as the proud Director of Global Woman Brussels and
founder of The Networker Agency,
I continue my mission: through coaching, events, and community building, always centered on helping others rise together, because creating a safe space is essential for true growth.
I honestly wish I could go back 20 years and have someone hand me the secrets and the system behind actually profiting from your network. I couldn't, so now I want to be that person for someone else.
